Our admission process

01

First Stage

During our initial visit we aim to provide as much information as possible about our setting, our care and the facilities that we offer. Once the viewing has been completed we provide parents and carers with a registration pack, this contains our registration form, fee structure, eligibility document (funding session) and nursery brochure. Once registration form is completed and supporting documents are submitted, the child’s form will then be filed in to our waiting list according to the term the child is due to start.

02

Second Stage

Second stage, confirmation of admission, a member of management team with contact either parent via telephone approving sessions (9-12pm or 1-4pm), start date and briefly mentioning the settling in procedure. If a child is attending private sessions, registration fees and refundable deposit will be discussed at this point. (Please Click for Fees)

Third Stage

Final stage; settling in procedure. We understand it could be challenging and overwhelming for children to settle in to a new surrounding, therefore we provide a settling in period where the child’s parent or carer accompanies them. We find this very beneficial as it allows the practitioner to work in partnerships with parents. This is very valuable for practitioners, children and parents as it allows them to build trust and feel reassured. This has had a positive impact as it allows children to have a smoother transition from home to nursery.

It is important to highlight all children are individuals and unique. Whilst some children will adapt swiftly to the new environment and new routines, others will take longer to feel comfortable and secure.

Registration Form available to download or collect from the nursery office.
